Debra Timms, CPA Debra Timms joined the firm in 2005.  Debra works in the firm's tax and business advisory practice and is also active in performing audits, reviews and compilations for both for-profit and non-profit entities.  Small businesses can benefit from Debra's experience with compliance issues, such as payroll taxes, sales taxes, corporate and personal tax preparation.   Debra's experience and intelligence are a great asset to the firm. Debra is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accounts.  She has served as the Treasurer for the Long Island Center for Business and Professional Women, and is on the Board of Directors of the Greater Middle Country Chamber of Commerce.  Debra graduated magna cum laude from Dowling College with a B.A. in Accounting.  She lives in Farmingville with her husband and three sons. Liz Baer Liz Baer, Accounting Staff, joined the firm in 1999.  Liz is responsible for our write-up clients, assisting with input into Quickbooks and preparing sales and payroll tax returns. Liz provides Quickbooks support to all of our clients.   She is also responsible for many of the liability and worker's compensation audits handled by our office.  Liz is compassionate with her clients and thorough in her work.  Liz lives with her husband and two children in Sound Beach. Jean Wells Jean Wells, Administrative Assistant, worked for Arthur Andersen, LLP, formerly one of the "big five" accounting firms for almost twenty years before joining the firm in 2002.  Jean is responsible for all administrative tasks in the office. Jean handles the firm billing and accounts receivable, mail department, typing and distribution of financial statements, tax return collation, and follow-up for electronic filing.  She performs a varied number of tasks efficiently and pleasantly.  Jean lives with her husband and son in Port Jefferson.
