Joel N. Kessler, CPA Joel Kessler,  Partner, joined the firm in 1972.  His clients include small and mid-size businesses in the fields of  construction, wholesale, retail, real estate, financial and service.  Joel is a licensed CPA in both New York State and Florida.  Joel's expertise includes tax planning, financial planning, estate planning, and retirement planning for his individual and business tax clients.    He sets up his small business clients using Quickbooks software and makes sure they are compliant with sales, payroll and income tax reporting. Joel is a charter member of the Suffolk Chapter of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants and member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.  Joel graduated from the Baruch School of City College New York with a B.B.A in Accounting in 1967.  He is the long-time treasurer of Temple Beth El of Patchogue, a wine connoisseur, vegetable gardener, and avid NY Yankee fan!   He lives in Holbrook with his wife Diane and often visits his daughter, son-in-law and granddaughters in Minnesota and son in California. Philip A. Liscia, CPA Philip Liscia, Partner, joined the firm in 1984.  Phil works with client's in the firm's tax, business advisory and estate planning practice.  He oversees the firm's accounting and audit department for both for-profit and non-profit entities.  The focus of his career in public accounting has been to use technology to streamline the accounting process, thereby saving the client unnecessary administration and accounting costs.   Many of Phil's clients are in the technology, construction, real estate, service, professional, and medical fields.  Phil is a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.  Phil graduated with honors from SUNY Albany with a B.A. in Accounting.   He lives in Miller Place with his wife and daughters. Rebecca Gonzalez, CPA Rebecca Gonzalez, Partner, joined the firm in 1999.  She is responsible for the Non- Profit Sector of the firm.  In addition to non profit clients, she serves the financial industry, small service businesses, wholesalers, technology, retail stores, and professionals.   She is responsible for the firm's accounting and auditing department. Rebecca is a certified Quickbooks ProAdvisor, proficient in all versions of Quickbooks, including Quickbooks Enterprise for mid-size companies.  She sets up new businesses on Quickbooks, customizing the program for the client's particular needs and training both business owners and their bookkeepers. Rebecca is a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.  She graduated summa cum laude from Dowling College with a B.B.A in Accounting.   She lives in Centereach, NY with her husband and children.  Her greatest joy is her new granddaughter!
